Priority Clients

Priority is always given to pregnant women and women with children that have a substance use disorder, IV drug users and United States Veterans. These consumers will be seen within 48 hours of seeking services for their substance abuse disorders.

If the priority population (IV Drug users, pregnant women, women with children, substance abuse disorder or Veterans) and/or persons served are not able to be admitted within 48 hours or declines the offer of treatment presented to him or her, the person served does not meet criteria for treatment or declines the offer of treatment presented to him/her, the Intake Staff Member will attempt to provide the person served or a family member with information about other treatment options available and offer to coordinate a referral to a program of the person’s served choosing.
