Coat Drive Challenge

Life Treatment Centers has challenged their Board President, TJ Jorgensen, to see who can raise more jacket donations by December 31, 2022. If we beat TJ, he gets a pie to the face AND it will be recorded!

We have set a personal goal of raising 150 coat donations. We are proud to announce that we have already met 25% of our goal, with over 25 coats, jackets, sweaters, and hoodies distributed to current residents of Life Treatment Centers. Even with a strong start, LTC is now out of the sizes we need the most for our current residents. We are especially in need of 2XLarge and 3XLarge coats. All new or gently used coats, jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, hoodies, etc. including men, women, and children’s sizes will count towards this challenge. Any jackets (and other items) that are not used at our organization, such as children’s items, will be donated to other local nonprofits that are in need. This is a great opportunity to do some winter cleaning- so dig deep into those closets and let’s help keep our community warm one jacket at a time! Please contact agrill@lifetreatmentcenters.org to arrange a pickup as soon as possible so we can distribute the jackets on an as-needed basis.

A huge THANK YOU to all the people who have already donated – we started passing out the items last week and did not expect the amount of gratitude we received for something that felt like such a small gesture on our part.

If you have already gotten rid of your old jackets but would like to donate to this cause you can visit our Amazon Winter Wish List and purchase a jacket that will be sent directly to LTC.
